Adult Connection Groups

Our Adult Connection Groups provide an opportunity for adults to connect with others, study God's Word, and grow together in their faith.

These groups offer a smaller setting where people can develop meaningful relationships, encourage one another, pray together, and discuss biblical truths that can be applied to everyday life. Our desire is for everyone at Harvest to have a place where they are known, connected, and growing in their relationship with Christ.

All Connection Groups meet at 9:45 every Sunday morning. We also offer a membership class for those interested in joining our church—please see Pastor for information on this class.

Grace to Grow

Leaders: Dan & Shelly Vincent · AUD 102

Grace to Grow is a welcoming Connection Group centered on growing deeper in God's grace and His Word. Through practical Bible teaching and meaningful discussion, you'll be encouraged to strengthen your faith and build lasting relationships with others in the church. Whether you're newer to the Christian life or have been walking with the Lord for years, there's room for you to grow here.

Core Foundations

Core Foundations is designed for those who want to establish or strengthen the essential truths of the Christian faith. Together, you'll explore foundational biblical doctrines, deepen your understanding of Scripture, and discover how God's truth applies to everyday living. This class provides a solid foundation for continued spiritual growth and faithful Christian living.

Friends & Faith

Friends & Faith is a Connection Group where genuine relationships and spiritual encouragement go hand in hand. Through Bible study, discussion, prayer, and fellowship, you'll find a welcoming community that desires to grow together in Christ. Whether you're looking to make new friends, strengthen your faith, or simply find a place to belong, we'd love for you to join us.

Faith Forward

Leaders: Jon & Kelly Gann · EDU 105 · Young Adults

Faith Forward is for young adults after high school through age 29 who are navigating college, careers, relationships, and life's next big steps. This group focuses on building a biblical foundation while encouraging authentic friendships and spiritual growth. Together, we seek to strengthen our faith, encourage one another, and move forward with confidence as we follow Christ.

Grace to Grow

Dan & Shelly Vincent

Dan was saved during his time serving in the US Navy 34 years ago, when and where he also met his wife Shelly. Dan and Shelly have been a part of and teaching an adult class for the last 15 years and teaching the Grace To Grow Class for the last 6 years. Their desire is to see their class and church grow and for each person to exercise their gifts within the body of Christ and for the Kingdom of God. Dan's personal burden is for The Global Mission to every city and to every person. “Our family deeply loves the opportunity to take yearly mission trips and to see the gospel at work in areas around the world. We have no greater joy than to witness another culture receiving the gospel and experiencing eternal life.”

Core Foundations

Clyde & Angie Shaffer

Bro. Clyde has devoted more than 30 years of his life to serving the Lord through pastoral ministry, Christian education, youth ministry, and community outreach. Ordained as a Baptist minister in 1994, Clyde has a heart for teaching God's Word, encouraging others in their faith, and helping people discover the joy of walking with the Lord. He served as the founding pastor of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, from 2009 to 2016, where he established a debt-free ministry and supported 15 missionaries and mission projects. Throughout his ministry, he has served as a pastor, educator, youth director, coach, and ministry leader. For the past two years, Clyde has had the privilege of teaching The Core Foundations Sunday School Class, where he enjoys exploring Scripture, sharing biblical truths, and growing together with fellow believers. One of Clyde's greatest blessings is his family. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Angie, for 41 years. Together, they have six children and nine grandchildren who bring tremendous joy to their lives. Clyde's greatest desire is to honor the Lord, love his family, serve others, and encourage people to build their lives on the unchanging truth of God's Word.
